[BCN]Barcelona-El Prat Airport
It is the main airport of Catalonia, the second largest in Spain behind Madrid Barajas Airport and one of the busiest in the world. In 2015 Barcelona Airport handled a record 39.7 million passengers, up 5.7% from 2014.

It is a main base for Vueling and a hub for Iberia Express, Air Europa and the Irish low-cost giant Ryanair. The airport mainly serves domestic European destinations, also having flights to North America (United States of America and Canada), South America (Argentina, Brazil and Colombia), Middle East (Egypt, Israel, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar), Asia (China, Singapore and South Korea), and Africa (Senegal, Gambia, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Ghana and Cape Verde).

The ariport has conexion to Barcelona via train (R2sud line) in the Terminal 2, via metro (L9 sud) in both terminals and via the Aerobus (A1 and A2) between both terminals and Plaça Catalunya, in the centre of Barcelona.

A map of the ariport and its terminals:

T1 (Terminal 1)
The new Terminal 1 designed by Ricardo Bofill was inaugurated on 16 June 2009. It is the fifth largest in the world, and has an area of 548,000 m2 (5,900,000 sq ft), and an aircraft ramp of 600,000 m2 (6,500,000 sq ft).

Its facilities include:
  • 258 check-in counters
  • 60 jetways (some are prepared for the A380, with double jetway)
  • 15 baggage carousels (one carousel in T1 is equivalent to 4 carousels in the T2, the old terminal)
  • 24,000 parking spaces, in addition to the 12,000 already in the terminal 2

The check-in zone:

T2 (Terminal 2)
Terminal 2 is divided into three linked sections, known as Terminal 2A, 2B and 2C. Terminal 2B is the oldest part of the complex still in use, dating back to 1968. Terminals 2A and 2C were added in order to expand the airport capacity before the arrival of the 1992 Summer Olympics held in city.[13] This expansion was also designed by Ricardo Bofill.

Following the opening of Terminal 1 in 2009, Terminal 2 lowered its passenger numbers and closed T2A, now under renovation. T2B is used by many companies such as Ryanair, Germanwings, Nordwind, Aer Lingus and Norweigan. T2C is used only by EasyJet and EasyJet Switzerland flights.

Iberia Express does NOT fly to BCN airport and there is no hub.

And for public transport you forgot all the city buses: 46, L77, L99, N16, N17, MonBus, etc.

All the rest is almost perfect!

Greetings from BCN airport, where I am working just right now!!

That's what wikipedia said. I don't know one by one all the companies that operate in Barcelona.

For public transport I only said the railways and the Aerobus for going to Barcelona. Of course there are a lot more buses, but those are more difficult to get to know for a tourist.

While this is being done, only 2 runways will remain operational, reducing the max. amount of operations per hour, from 72/h to 48/h, according to Aena.

The total cost will be 18,7 milion euros, and around 1000 people will be working on the site.

While the take off (Enlairament) will still be done in the 7R/25L runway, mainly used for this kind of operations, the 2/20 will take the tasks of landing (Aterratge) aircrafts.
