Very massive, but i don't like it. I prefer (a) taller and slender tower(s).

it's funny they try to deceive the town planning board by putting planters on the external facade... haha. it can't really help it looking huge and blocking the views of the apartment blocks behind!

oh well... >.< will see if they'll finally get built!

Only in HK are 58 and 73 story buildings considered "lowrise." Haha.

I prefer the old plan.

The new plan is more like a las vegas plan. HK is the city of slender towers, not massive hotels...

I prefer a totally new desing, one ultratall of somethin like that. Somehow i have the feeling the old design was made by the same people who made the Thunderbirds.

Have to say that I'm against the towers being built! The reason is that one of the nicest aspects of Kennedy Rd is that it's always fairly quiet, which for the island is quite remarkable considering the next road down (Queens Rd East) is always busy. The other thing I like about Kennedy is that it's very green along pretty much it's whole length, even at the Bamboo Court / Queens RD end. It's the route I use when walkig to my apartment in the valley, and I love highrise architecture, but think Kennedy Rd should be left alone.

That old plan is really ugly! The new high-rises look very nice, but they would be more slender.

I think it looks great, of course its always someone that get their view obstructed, and therefore never accept any project there..Unless its a 3 floor hotel then

The towers should be at least 20 floors higher, otherwise it's a nice design.
