I dont see how London clearly has the better skyline. Really compared to Hamilton London's skyline looks downright tiny.

^ It may be more cleaner and greener looking and has more interesting buildings in London, but when it comes to the size and density, Hamilton certainly beats it. I think this should be in City vs. City as well, and I think there was already a thread on this, but that was quite a few months ago.

Overall, Hamilton beats London.

But that's his preference...

I pick London... though Hamilton is a whole different dynamic, one I love... one that is more genuine to the real world... so, it's pretty much a tie

I've lived in both cities, and I prefer London over Hamilton, but it's just my personal preference. They both have interesting downtowns, but I think London is overall a greener city.

Definitely a close call, but I think Hamilton is more my style.

Hamilton has a better skyline than London.
That said, London is a far more desireable city to live in. Beautiful clean city, doesn't have Hamilton smell or smog , excellent and very large university, gorgeous architecture, lovely ThamesRiver, stellar health services, and all round much more pleasant city.
I use to think that Hamilton's only redemming feature was its proximity to Toronto but as Toronto sprawls I am starting to think it as more of a curse. An extended Toronto suburb. I'm now glad London is further afield.
I think a fairer comparion would be Hamilton vs Windsor or Oshawa. Similar economies and, like Hamilton, more blue collar.

I somewhat agree with you...However I think in the future that all the blue collar workers will bring commercial business to Hamilton....I can see Hamilton really booming

London does have a much better skyline than Hamilton, but overall, Hamilton has a much more urban feel to it with it grand boulevards, it's industrial and dense neighbourhoods and with the architecture. Very similar to rustbelt cities in the Northeast and Midwest U.S.A.

Even my vote went to London, I have to say the stereotype of Hamilton being a dirty town is not very fair. Hamilton does have its fair share of natural beauty, like their numerous waterfalls. You have too look a little harder to find them though, unlike London which has the beautiful Thames River right next to downtown.

I can understand why people might prefer London to Hamilton, but I don't get the skyline comparison.

Not that Hamilton's is anything special, but London does not even really have a skyline, so how is there a comparison?

I strongly prefer London but I think Hamilton has the better skyline and I think Hamilton's view is nicer due to the nice ecartement.
I'd rather live in The Forest City than Steeltown anyday. I can see Hamilton booming but I think it will just become a larger blue collar town.
London is a more of a white collar, clean, pretty, professional town than Hamilton will ever be.
They are totally different cities. Although Hamilton is larger than Windsor I think it would be more of a fair comparison.
