well Princess and 23 Marina are both in the ground with pilling rigs on both, there is another super tall called The Torch in Dubai marina 80f 345m that is also just started piling this week and Ocen Heights 8f 310m has new hardings up and is about to break ground also in Dubai Marina.
Maybe a better list wold be all 300m plus towers?
Nice work richard

Amazing work again! Look how small the NYC projects are in this list...

We live in an amazing time of skyscraper construction!

I hate to clutter the diagram but the worlds tallest hotel (rose rotana) 333m 72F is also in Dubai and U/C on the 20th Floor (Go Grocon)
Unfortunatly for you and the diagram I know of another 14 at least that are over 300m here in Dubai either approved, just started and my 2 that are in concept design stage.
Exciting times in Dubai I tell ya

I think there are around 60 or 70 supertalls U/C and approved around the world so then that'll have to be one massive diagram

Dubai

What about Almas Tower ??Hasn't construction begun on that tower already?

You also forgot Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Tower (301 m). (construction progress has been very slow for this one so it might be worth holding off on this one a little while longer.)

well on the 2 above , Al mass has been piled and the massive raft slab is going in along with basement parking, the Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Tower (301 m) has piled out and the raft is next to go but seems slow at the moment , might be a case of the head contractor doing the pile caps and raft as well as superstructure so that could be the delay

I think a better idea would be to have the cap at 350m. There are a lot of towers between 300 and 350m now but not that many that are taller.

@Culwulla :

U said the Burj is at 16th floor but in this picture seems to be a floor numbering. And that would mean they are at level 23-24 or so. (look on the right side of the left part of the core) It would be much higher in that case.

BTW : Great job this diagram.

agree they have reached level 24 on the inner core while the outer wings are at 15.

you should have the cap at 350m. too many alone in dubai otherwise.
however you could add rose rotana, because it will be the tallest only hotel.

Maybe 400m is better, to have only the real tall. There are to many towers between 300 & 400 UC... (what a time...)

@dubaiflo

true, maybe 400+ and some special towers for other reasons then height, but all 300+ will be too much!
