Im asking me how many trees they have to cut down for all those bambus around the U/C buildings in hong kong

Hong Kong doesn't have any bamboo forests locally. The scaffolding can be re-used for different constructions. They're easy to set up and take down.

Isnt bamboo a kind of grass? I heard that it can grow a whole meter in 24 hours! I'm not sure about that though... Sorry maybe all this bamboo stuff is off-topic..
