People seem polarized by this tower, some think its beautiful, some think its ugly...

I think its ugly, would've been ok if the top didn't look like that and the white was more prominent.

There isn't lighting at night. The building has topped out but is not yet occupied. Newspaper reports this weekend indicate sales will likely be delayed until next year. Currently a green laser beam shoots out from the top at night as part of the Symphony of Lights show.

Dam its even worse than I thought, I was sure would be ugly !!!

I hope there will be a construction mistake so they have to tore it off ....or perhaps a reclad with glass would help.

I think Kowloon is going to see many more buildings in the future that meet and even surpass the height of Hanoi Road. By then, the impact of it will be much less. It's not a signature tower for sure, only a very visible filler for now since the surrounding area is HK midrise. I think Kowloon is very much in transition towards forming another signature skyscraper area for HK. Within a few years, Kowloon has added gems such as Langham Place, One Peking and the Harbourfront Landmark which are all very nice buildings... and this is only the beginning.

Hundreds of windows ! It reminds me of the good old times when skyscrapers weren't covered in all-glass sheathing.

I think as the dominant tower it's a bit weird, but when more taller buildings come up it'll fit in alright. From a distance it's got a cyborg-ish machined look.

The Peninsula is getting dwarfed... be interesting to see comparison pictures of Kowloon in the future.

Just like Jardine House.

i really hope more tall buildings will pop up to complement this one, but what with all the oppositions nowadays it's hard to achieve.
