Model of T3B, interior view (photo by DFKJB):

The upper level in "C" shape (anti-clockwise from top middle to bottom right of the photo) will be for arrivals....

Hey Celestar0 that interior model, when you mean T3B its the terminal towards the end right, not the main one right?

Wait, why would the top level be for arrivals? Traditionally the top floor is for departures, right? Or am I missing something...

Exactly!

0>- - -<

T3A: the main one >-
T3B: the one at the other end -<
T3C: the middle portion -

You mean those showing the interior of the whole terminal? I wish I had! I'll post them ASAP when I find some.

Yeah! THAT's a special feature in T3 design! AFAIK, while arrival/departure level(s) in T3A will follow the common practice [departures on upper floor(s), arrivals on lower floor(s)], those in T3B will be reversed....

thanks, celestar0!

your pics is much clearer than mine

BTW, what is the green roof structure besides T3? subway station?

I was in Beijing Capital Airport last week and took the newly built 2nd expressway (Airport North Line) to go to downtown. It's pretty good. I heard they are going to build the 3rd expressway for the airport, is it true?

Don't mention it! All credits should go to "ForOne2006" & other photographers mentioned who took these great shots!

Light Rail Terminal (airport <--> city).

AFAIK there'll be 3 expressways (newly-built or u/c). I think the 3rd one is gonna be "Airport South Line"?

Great pictures!! Keep them coming.

Strange. The interior pictures don't seem to look like HKG's interior. Guess the only thing similar is the Y-terminal shape.

Will T3 serve int'l or domestic flights?
