Best architects???

Hello!

I have a project at school, im suppose to choose an architect and have a short presentation about the architect and his works infront of the class. I have had such a hard time choosing a good architect and i wonder if anyone have any ideas? Do you know any great architect, please suggest! I´m not beeing lazy, i just want to make the right decition..

I.M Pei would be a good one. He have designed several buildings all over the world for many years now.

There are a lot of very good ones and no such thing as the "best" architect. Perhaps it would help if you tell us what sort of style you are predisposed to. It's really quite a personal choice.

A simple list of recognized good ones are the Pritzker Prize winners and nominees. This would not be complete of course as there are many not neccesarily recognized by the search committee. www.pritzkerprize.com

I think that Minorou Yamasaki was the most underrated architect.

personally i love the work of frank gehry, but calatrava and pelli are also great architects.
