Went to 1U yesterday, just to check out the Tangs outlet... Compared with the Pavilion one, this one seems far smaller and many of the nice in-house brands have disappeared, including those selling the evening gowns... I was hoping that they would bring in those cool iPod products similar to those sold in Tang Plaza (SG flagship) but alas, there was none...

In my opinion, the Tangs in 1U feels like a disappointment compared with its more upper-class feel in Pavilion... Of course the crowd will still come in, particularly those from Tropicana / TTDI / ParkCity / PJ City as they do not need to head to KL for Tangs shopping anymore!

the TANGS in 1U is a new personalised concept store, rather than a departmental store like Parkson. The brands on showcase may change depending on seasons and I realise most of the brands are highstreet only.

I agree the TANGS have "dropped" standards to meet the suburban needs.

The Tangs in OneU is probably similar to the one in Empire.
Now both Tangs are in PJ....No more Tangs in KL

Let me break some news on 1 Utama.

Stores moved out: A&W, RAOUL, POLO RALPH LAUREN, ROBOT SUSHI, a Malay clothing store next to ALDO, some miscellaneous stores on the Bridge

So who is replacing the former Polo Ralph Lauren spot???

Michael Kors opening soon at 1 Utama

The bigger Springfield store at 1 Utama
(I think the former store is ELLE)

Chanel, Clinique, etc opening mini stores in Isetan 1 Utama.
