Suburban cannot tahan luxury market. Just not ready yet.. but F&B is OK. 1U is now mainly relying on weekend crowd and office workers.

i'm also shock with the variety of F n B there...it is the place that people must go..we must start from the small2 one lah...i mean the luxury brand that we all well known such burberry,salvatore,gucci...aigner.tods..mulberry,,longchamp.such michael kors..it huge and large actually..i think it huge more than the pavilion one..it good if we have it one at the suburban area...yup it quite empty at the new wing...most people are way around the centre court..

i believe their first outlet is in Paradigm Mall, but not sure if its a full range for just perfume. most probably the highstreet area of 1U will become really highstreet brands, but how many highstreet brands can survive in 1U? i think victoria secret will be a success because all the girls will go ga-ga over it, provided they bring in their famous lingerie.

This is a suburban mall near my home, and according to Forbes' 20 largest Shopping Malls in the World (2012 Ranking based on Gross Leasable Area):
1 Utama Shopping Mall --> 1st largest in Malaysia, 2nd largest in Southeast Asia, 4th largest in the World Due to rapid mall expansions, Malaysia now has 3 prominent malls in the top 10 largest shopping malls in the world. But we remained humble... 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya City, Selangor State, Malaysia - 5.0 million sq ft - 700+ tenants http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlQSJlqL23g http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1_Utama Quote:

is a funny name to me. The Japanese should consult people with good command of English before they decided on the name used. Food Paradise, Dinners' Paradise, Dining Paradise, or even Eaters' Paradise would have sounded better.![]() ![]()

The secret Gardeen is the best thing in One Utama. Too bad it only opens during weekends.
