Well done for throwing away that shitty design.

Anyway, are there any more designs? These two look pretty similar but they look good.

Is that a mini-disneyland I see in the last pic? Haven't seen an urban themepark before.

Really good to hear something is happening with the project. But what design has been choosen, they should decide that before they start construction, don't they? Anyway, im hoping for design #1.

hmmm, let's twist again

the old design really sucked but the new one doesn't convince me either

this must be the most mysterious project in the world

are there no press releases confirming this one will be built?

can we be dead-sure construction has started/is about to start?

The second proposal looks like the FIRST (rejected) Grollo Tower proposal for Melbourne by Harry Seidler. Why are all new supertalls designed with the "turning torso" or "corkscrew" design?!

Agreed, I think the first one looks a little like the Dubai towers approved in Istanbul.

so should this designm be put into world uc diagram? it looks similar height. 494m. maybe it has a 500m height limit above sea level thus it must be 6m at ground.
what is it with all this twisty buildings? the first one in malmo was cute but if every city gets one it will be a fade. anyway hope it starts soon.

According to Emporis the old one was meant to be 800 metres and 200 storeys. SSP has it at 555m to roof with spire to about 675m. But I'd be more than happy to sacrifice a few hundred metres in height for a much better design. The Eifel Tower design was so tacky, these look a lot better.

As for it being UC, well I'll believe it when I see it. Lotte don't seem to be able to get their Busan tower off the ground so I'm not too excited about this one in Seoul.
