The Busan Lotte 2 tower is still slated for 494m and the foundation should be dug up by now. Little info is coming from there since Busan is "off the beaten path" when it comes to skyscraper building.

This building in Seoul is the best of the bunch for that design. I'm sure they will go to the mid 500m mark.

Culwulla, nothing is official so your best estimate would be 500m for now.

Both designs look really cool :-)
My favourite is the first one but as someone mentioned, there are so many twisty towers going up all over the world, I wouldn't mind if it's the second one ;-)

Anyway if this is really under construction they must have chosen which design it will be...

It's not over the ground yet but there's a very clear pic of a huge hole in the ground in another thread on this forum, so pretty soon it should be ;-)

Just build it already, it's about time at least one of the many Korean supertall proposals actually got completed!

Argh... hardly a twisty tower in the world has been built, but its still getting old. I'd vote #2

Glad to see someone had taste and a brain. That old design was beyond disgusting.

I agree with many people here that the old design was terrible. These new designs are great.

I will believe it when I see it, the Koreans don't have a good track record when it comes to building supertalls.

Looks great (standard phrase, but I really mean it). But why did they axe so much height?

I like the first one much more. It's more distinctive and classic.

According to LeCom who works for SOM over at SSP, this design is already old. He said there is already a new one. Of course he said he cant post it (the bastard) so who knows.

This one if a lot better then the old one. I agree with people who said its like a twisty Grollo. I am sick of twisties.
