U/C pictures(6/11/2005), All photos by me

" FOUNDATION WORK ONLY " is carrying out right now(Lotte can lay the foundation work since they already got approved 36-storey tower at that very site a decade ago)

Carrying out ground-making first,
Get approval afterwards
That's lotte's strategy

Anyway, the standard value of real estate in those area have sky-rocketed

Lotte put blocking fences around construction site, fencing off from outsiders

But I tried to break into Lotte's construction site to see what is happenning there in person, pretending to be lost
But unfortunately, the guard came out to keep a check on me as soon as I was entering the site.
So I couldn't produce much works worth mentioning
On the right side of this picture, there is huge hole that filled with steel frames

Making good my retreat, I took photos secretly, elude the vigilance(I'm sorry Mr. Lotte guard, I had to do this under unavoidable circumstances)

This picture was taken through the crevice of the joint between two fences
Lotte's foundation work is hugely making headway.

Thats what we like to see, forumers going above and beyond the call of duty to bring us new construction photos Top work citypia. Good to see that foundation work is progessing, although foundations does not a supertall make. Fingers crossed it gets approved. I don't really mind which design is chosen.

Is Lotte really going to build two supertalls? (Busan+Seoul). I think they'll only build one.

Those renderings are outdated. I have the final design laying here on my desk, but I have no clearance to post it for public view.

Mmm SOM internship...

the design is pretty much approved, we're working out details right now; that means that the developer likes the overall concept but some details are still in the air.

I am responsible for shortening the tower by two meters (found erroneous heights in the plans).

Can you tell us how high the erroneous height was? You would technically not be given any information about the tour away as it was wrong.

lol, you can't tease us like that LeCom. Spill the beans

Can you tell us which design has been chosen? Are the two renders both designs SOM was tossing up between or is one SOM and one from a competing firm. I'm guessing both are SOM because they are identical except for the tower.

Anyway here's a photo I found, with the site on the right.

The design is approved or the project?

not bad Impressive, but I think the design can be very good for a tower of this size.
