This is one of the most impressive interchanges I've seen for a relatively unimportant junction. I-95 and Chippenham Parkway / Pocahontas Parkway in Richmond, Virginia.

Wow, that's what I call massive flyovers
But when you look at the big picture, this solution seems reasonable. There's hardly any space for a regular cloverleaf

I noticed this never-build cloverleaf along State Route 24 in New Jersey

To illustrate the length of the I-10 in Texas, I projected it over Europe:

Straighten it up a bit and you have the E30

Texas is quite big, actually.

I think you like American expressways a bit too much.

Virginia and Ohio are the strictest states in speed enforcement.

Put South Carolina up there too. Their State Troopers are legendary.

I must think of it´s best definition first. -Radi Click

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

A city we don't see featured here that much is the steel city. It has in my opinion, one of the best settings of major cities in the U.S.

1. I-279 and Fort Pitt Bridge.

2. I-376 Squirrel Hill Tunnel.

3. I-376 near downtown.

50-plus-vehicle pileup clogs New Hampshire interstate

(CNN) -- More than 50 vehicles -- including a bus carrying Boy Scouts -- collided in a massive pileup on a snow-swept New Hampshire interstate Sunday, closing the highway in one direction for five hours, authorities and witnesses said.

There were no fatalities and no apparent life-threatening injuries, although rescue personnel were working to extricate people from crushed vehicles on Interstate 93 near Derry, according to Lt. Chris Aucoin of the New Hampshire State Police.

Stephanie Hasenauer was traveling with her son on a bus taking about 30 Boy Scouts on a ski trip. She said the bus came upon an auto accident at about 9 a.m. and stopped.

Then, she said, "at least 30 or 40 cars all piled up behind us."

"It was unbelievable. There were cars, buses, 18-wheelers, plow trucks," Hasenauer told CNN. "Most people [in wrecked vehicles] couldn't get out of their doors -- they were climbing out the windows," she said.

"One guy who was further back, his car went under [an] 18-wheeler and couldn't get out. The first thing the firefighters did when they got there was try to save him."

Hasenauer said the bus was bumped by at least two cars but there were no injuries on the bus.

Looks like Long Island particularly suffers from morning rush hour congestion.
Also I-93 south of Boston gets pretty jammed in the morning, once in summer I got stuck there for 40 minutes

The 6 lane Verrazano Bridge dumps on just 3 substandard lanes in Brooklyn.

That's how the highways in New York are like.

Agreed, Pittsburgh sometimes gets a bad rap, but it really is a pretty city, reminds me a little of Portland, Oregon (without Mt. Hood!)
