Or, you could just use the coordinates printed on the bottom margin center.

I know exactly where that is, but I'm going to leave the guessing to others.

Looks like I-85 and I-285 near Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta. Either there or Houston would be my guess.

It's the I-75/I-85 southern end of the Downtown Connector in Atlanta.

This is just north of that I-75/I-85 interchange and has an extended parallel setup because of nearby interchange with the Lakewood Freeway. It tapers off to 14 lanes further north, which is one of the widest through freeways in the world (7 lanes each way, including one HOV lane). You don't see 7 lanes going in one direction often, without them being split up in multiple roadways.

I think that's somewhere in the New York City metropolitan area.

Daniels accelerates I-69 expansion

Governor says the state will take advantage of cheaper-than-expected construction bids

Gov. Mitch Daniels dramatically ramped up the timetable for the I-69 extension from Indianapolis to Evansville on Wednesday, but critics continued to question how he'd pay for some portions of the project and keep others within budget.

Standing along the first completed section of the highway near Evansville, Daniels said that all 94 miles from Evansville to Bloomington would be completed by the end of 2014.

The other night, I was looking at a tourist road map I got last summer from Indiana (I was planning a road trip to the Midwest - in the end, I didn't get past the Cleveland area - so I e-mailed the states for info. This map was in the packet of information that came from the Indiana state tourist bureau, but it's glossy and has lots of ads, and I'm guessing there's a more "serious" official state map in existence too.) Anyway, I noticed it shows "corridors" for 69 and 265, and was there something else running northeast from Lafayette? At this point I'll believe proposed Interstates when they actually happen.

And what's the "completed section near Evansville" - 164?

When I travel on 85 northbound though here, I always take the CD road because the merge is easier.
