An appealing skyline in a surprisingly green and watery setting. A 7.

unfortunately, oklahoma city has to compete with skylines of cities like dallas, st. louis, pittsburgh, and other large cities (typically ones that have professional sports teams), and i think that oklahoma city is not quite at their level yet, as a city. the skyline, when compared to other large cities, is pretty nice, and i give it a 7.5. okc is doing a god job trying to get over the hump and become a first-rate us city.

Bleh, Oklahoma is alright, it's like Rice Crispies without the milk. While the cereal is better with milk and sugar, it just taste plain. According to the skyline, it is not much of a fantastic thing you see, but still, the city manages to bring in support. I am not feeling the skylines in some of the photos, maybe the downtown cores are much better than expected, but overal detail, this city isn't in my category. 5/10.

the density is surprising...for a city with acres and acres and acres of land to sprawl. Not bad. 6

The red building is Union Plaza, OKC's 14th tallest. What you can't see is that Union Plaza is right on the edge of OKC's northwestern highrise district. So it's okay that it's not downtown, because it adds to our second skyline (which includes two of our top ten buildings.) I've been meaning to go down and take some good pictures of the NW Expressway skyline since you never see a picture of it anywhere online.

edit: I take that back. I found this painting from Greg Burns, a local artist. gregburns-fineart.com
