Mumbai's skyline stretches nearly 20km . With more tall buildings being added daily, expect some big cities to have competition.

Not bad 8.5 from me. If added a few supertalls, it might look like Chicago..

Yes I know. Some months ago there were rumours of a 140+ supertall coming up, but it was just that. A RUMOUR. Right the FSI in Mumbai is too low to legally allow any building of this sort. There is just one 75 storey business centre coming up, but thats it. Hopefully sometime in the future, when the political elite see the error of their ways perhaps

There's also a 90 storey tower in the works as well , plus at least 10-12 buildings above the 45 storey which have started from last year alone. Not bad for a city who's tallest for years never crossed the 40 storey mark.

It's an OK skyline now, but with great potential and geographic setting. When the projects that are currently u/c are finished in a year's time, it can be called a good skyline. In 10 years, it will be a great looking skyline, no question. But as of now, there's plenty that need to be done.

More or less...the skyline is not that bad, but for being a dirty and not elegant city, I gave it a 3. It's like producing and putting a lot of make-up in a very ugly person to make her/him look what the person is not. And however, the person is still not beautiful.

I'm not a hatr, maybe I was quite tough, sorry... so then, I'll just say that don't like it so much. And what I meant is that I don't like how the city is "dissimulating" poverty, and all those things that you can't see in a skyline. It hapenns something similar with panama City; maybe my opinions are very controversial. I hope India some day stop spending millions in nuclaer bombs and instead, give their people to eat.
Anyway, just to tell you that I don't hate you, you have GREAAT things there, like the Taj Mahal. I(nobody, I guess) would NEVER deny that monument is one the most marvelous things in the world!!!
Thanks!

Yep. Troll confirmed. The flaunting of more ill-informed stereotypes (millions on nuclear bombs, yet India only spends 2% GDP on defense; apparent starving masses simply thronging the streets, etc )

Good point HariR on his registering today and yet immediately hightailing it to the Indian threads to troll. The half literate posting style and quick mea culpas while spouting off even more nonsense are the trademarks of our resident stalker troll. I'll check with the mods to see if this is yet another new username of his, but I won't waste any more time replying to him.

What is it about Indian threads that bring out the jealous cockroaches?
