My jaw was open for a really long time!!! I can't imagine driving on Gardiner seeing all of those buildings! This is Truly "YORK" City! Amazing!!

Lets not forget, the federal government has made a commitment to increase immigration by actively seeking skilled workers. The intent is to try and place workers in some more remote regions where they are needed, however, the impact on Toronto will still be an increase resulting in 120,000 to 140,000 per year. Factor in the provincial government provisions to halt sprawl and the result will be many more tall towers for T.O.

Thank god Sapphire won't get built, that was an awful design and would have been a joke of a building if it ever got built.

Luckily most of the other tall proposals in Toronto like Shangri-La, Four Seasons and Hummingbird are excellent designs and I would prefer them over Sapphire any day, even if they aren't as tall.

If Stinson wants to go tall he shouldn't be such a cheapskate and hire a real architect :-)

Is there really one of this big windmills out infront of the skyline out by the water. Sure looks like one in the very first rendering.

yes there is one of those huge windmills.. but its by the Exhibition Grounds so it is quite a distance away... you can see it at that perspective clearly though. =D
