Fairly 'good' skyline with all those buildings for a smaller city.

Novo Hamburgo (New Hamburg) - Brasil

Take it easy will ya guys This is a 3rd world city with just 240.000 people. Its the 90th largest city in Brasil, and was settled by germans back in 1824.
The city is located in the southernmost state of Brasil, 45 km north of Porto Alegre, 1000km south of São Paulo, 1600km south of Rio de Janeiro and about 1000km northeast of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It's a beautiful and colorful city. looking at these pictures, it's hard to believe Brazil is a 3rd world country. It's one of the more developed developing countries. I think Brazil needs to solve it's social disparities, then it will be on it's way to being a major power.

Why was it settled by Germans?
That's neat. Germans in a Portuguese Colony.

Brazil is the richest 3rd world country.
