Now that is awesome.

At first I wasn't sure about this tower, but bloody hell, I'm sure now. Fantastic.

Externally it should be complete come the Commonweakth Games, internally... not a chance, the observation deck won't open till June-July.

yeah it really is an impressive tower, when your driving around southbank and turn a corner and it sorta smacks you in the face....! anyway just wondering if anyone knows if it's going to have any lighting around the top and if so what type/ any renders?

during the tennis when they show the skyline @ night you can just see it's massive outline and it would really benefit from some lights at the top, would they be as bright as the rialto's blue stripe? or would they be toned down because it's a residential building?

Couple of new pics to add here.

Below is a close-up of one of the gold panes in storage for gracing the golden crown of Eureka and its parapets. It has been predicted that Eureka will be fully externally clad witin the next 4-5 weeks. We'll have to wait and see, eh?

Some new gold went up this afternoon. No wide shots here as all the action is up top...

The work's been going on for a while - until today it was mainly on the concrete up top, which isn't as immediately obvious as a new row of gold glass.
