Pic by sirbugalugs.

Pic by Herald Sun Newspaper. Apparently the gold cladding had real gold in it. From this pic it looks like it too.

Acutally that picture is form Channel 9 news, supposidly they had a helicopter fly past last night, i missed it though, and the HUN just took a screencapture from it, still looks excellent though.

I wonder what this building would be like without stripes. Say if the glass was black, like FWP? Whaddaya think Archibomber?

Funny you should ask because I made a render. Looks strange because I'm not used to it but it's not without its charms and still looks pretty sleek though more like an office building.

^I prefer black glass with that golden top myself but the overall design is quite unique. Lovely building btw.

Sometimes the gold looks a cheese colour, sometimes it looks like caramel. I've yet to see it gleam like this from ground level though.

Yeah that is an effect you really only get from an aerial shot or a view from up high. The blue glass in that shot looks very similar to the Rialto in this pic I took:

You'll never see the gold like that from the ground cs because it's reflecting absolutely everything and not just the sky and a tower or too.
