Damn - London is getting (or has already got) some of the most awesome modern architecture!! I absolutely love it, its just a shame that most of is pretty short - But bring on 2012 eh?

Taken this afternoon, from the South Bank. Not much to see yet, apart from the cranes (on the right of the image).

Still, it can't be long before the core is visible from this view:

Latest, 28/1/06

Core has reached approximately the 18th level, so there are still about 10 floors to go. Steelwork is up to the 4th floor.

Here's a rendering I did yesterday.

51 Lime Street can be seen on the far right of the cluster:

That building will be 28 stories? I thought that it would be about 50 stories and 600 feet or so.

While it's a horizon-scraper (rather than a skyscraper), it looks nice anyway.

eh, even though the thread title clearly states 125m?

you must be thinking about a different proposal

plus it would be way to fat for such an absurd height

And a 50 story office building would be closer to 730 feet I would say not 600

I didn't see that the title said 125m. I skipped to the last page. From the renderings I had seen on other sites, I assumed that this building would be as tall or taller than Swiss Re.

While it's a cool building, it's not much of a skyscraper at 28 floors and 125m.
