Yer, I know what you're saying, but, for one thing, renders are often quite misleading, and for another, it's still pretty early days, so we shouldn't be too concerned with how it looks at this point

Often renders end up looking better than the real thing as they are for marketing puposes. In Foster & Partner's case though, their renders & models are equally as good as the finished "product" or sometimes even better than the renders etc. You can't go wrong with a Norman Foster building.

As far as the construction pics are concerned, I find them fascinating. Thanks always for your efforts Jack Rabbit Slim - much appreciated mate

Ye darn right I did! There's a whole backstage process you don't see, a massive crew working day and night to get the images to this site...it's a very complicated process

LOL, it's obviously from a construction webcam. Jack still has to copy, host and post the images as said.

The company supplying the cladding has gone into liquidation. Apparently they're the same company who supplied the cladding for SwissRe - and in case you didn't know, there were several panes of glass which fell off SwissRe when it was built...

That last pic looks very odd... It seems to be closer to CW than to the city...

Lol, I had a feeling that last pic would confuse some people

That's Ontario Tower, not 51 Lime Street.
