^ Okay thats wierd.. Its usually the lebanese/syrian/egyptian people who cant figure it out!! But i consider the UAE to have a language of its own really cause its dialect can sometimes AND I SAID SOMETIMES be not understandable. But Qatari and Kuwaiti as our Kuwaiti friends say "Shako" hehe

Well, I have lived in both Qatar and UAE. I actually lived in UAE for a long time.
The funny thing is that this is the first time for me to know that Qataris and Emaratis have different dialects!

^Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! Emiratis talk soooo different. It's like comparing Egyptians to Libyans.

I think that Emiratis are understandable, all the GCC is, but the only pple that I could sometimes have trouble understanding are Bedouins. My roommate is a Qatari Bedouin, sometimes he uses weird words that we normally don't use in Qatar and I ask him if he could translate it to Arabic.

Well, I understand Qataris, Emaratis, Saudis and Kuwaitis. Although there are a few words which I don't understand...
But, I have really never noticed different dialects!

See... That's what I am talking about. Just minor differences (except for Saudis as I can see). To you it maybe obvious. But to me as an Egyptian, it is all "Khaliji"

I agree to a non-gulf person it might sound all the same, just as syrian and lebanese might sound the same to us.

For us, since we use the dialcet, on a day by day basis we can tell the differences.

^Of course. You guys are totaly different than Iraqis. You even look different. Iraqis have a touch of Khaliji, Shami and Farsi. But Kuwaiti is just pure Gulf
