The slums. Many are getting demolished. And now for Mumbai's very expensive facelift, more and more are getting demolished. Mumbai will get better infrastructure(new metro, roads, airport, highways). The funding was going to come for the World Bank, but now because of the terms, the Bank of Japan will be funding the mega project. The project is named the Shanghai act or something!!

WOW Mumbai has a great skyline it's not done properly thats all, it looks really huge though. Mumbai definately needs a facelift.

just wondering,,,,where would the millions of people living in the slums be shifted because i have a really good indian freind who told me that nearlly 30% of mumbai is slums and he told me that once he travelled from some town in gujrat where hez from to mumbai via train and told me like he could see slums for like 2 hours just coming and coming before the train actually reached mumbai.....but he also told me the drive right next to the mumbai shore is amazing and it also looks good in the picturrs too.

hope Mumbai would build tall glassy office buildings soon. many buildings in the pics shown look really shabby. the first time i visited mumbai was really an eye-opening experience for me. i'm sure it was also the same experience bill gates had because look at him now giving multi-billion dollar charity to india.
