This is great. These towers are happening in part of Chicago that doesn't have lots of skyscrapers. This is a new section of skyscraper developement in town

really nice .... how many units or even residents will this project host when all is completed.
And from where are all the clients for all the new Condo towers in Chicago in the last 7 years. From Chicago or from complete other places ?

Tower 2 is already UC. #3, I dunno. #4 is still in the conceptual stages.

Good questions. I do know that tower 1 has all but sold out, and very quickly. As for number of units, you've 6 per floor up to the main setback, then 3 per floor. See: http://www.onemuseumpark.com/residences_inter.html

Some of these units were no doubt sold to speculators. But downtown Chicago was underdeveloped as a residential center for several decades, so there's a lot of demand around the CBD, even with the lending crisis.

I really hope Chicago will be seeing more building like this in the future for the south side.

Those shots by wrabbit are great. This one looks like 4 different towers merged into one.

Nice shots JV! This tower has really come along very well, the South Loop needed a tower like this to improve that part of the skyline.
