Kuwait Business City

Kuwait is witnessing a real estate revolution in which high rise buildings are the tools required to be a recognized leader in this new era. URC being a leading real estate company got its dedicated team of managers to plan for such a project accordingly. URC hired both SSH as project consultant and KPFA to be the architectural design firm for its new Kuwait Business City mixed use project (offices, apartments, and retail outlets).

Neighboring Al-Shaheed and Madina Buildings in the Sharq area of Kuwait City, KBC is designed to compliment the existing URC structures on a land space of 4852 square meters and the construction is estimated to be concluded on 2008.

KBC will consist of two towers, one commercial and the other residential as well as a retail center, multi level parking and other facilities. The commercial tower consists of 50 storey on net leasable space of 39,000 m², while the residential tower contains 30 storey over 6,500m² and the retail center consists of 3 levels over 4,000 m². The two towers will be connected the existing buildings, Shaheed Tower and City Tower, thus making KBC as one of the biggest commercial and residential complexes in the heart of the city providing local and international investors the ideal business environment.

That large render is definitely Vision tower in Brisbane. If you look at the model picture, you can clearly see it's not the same building as the render.

I can see from the new pics that they have built the right section of the building. That's why we can't see any progress in the left part of the building.
