Actually, despite having height restriction all over the city, there is a considerable number of buildings above 100m (not sure how many, but I think that is something around 50 or more buildings). No buildings over 190m thought (only TV towers).
Sao Paulo has many different skylines with some great buildings. Here are just some samples, from different locations: Faria Lima area Vila Olimpia area Berrini area Nacoes Unidas area Old Downtown ![]() ![]() Ibirapuera area ![]() Higienopolis area Paulista avenue ![]() ![]() There are other areas with skylines just like these, like Itaim and Vila Nova Conceicao, but unfortunately I don´t have decent pics.

Huge... but loses a bit due to less-than-spectacular architecture. 7.5/10.

It's the Hong Kong of South America!
Nice and dense Sadly, no real tall ones though that's why the skyline is really large and spread out. And there's no real focal point too 8/10

Great, it is super dense, but it needs a place where all the tall buildings are toghether, like in Rio

Seems very ugly, just a sprawl of like-sized, squat buildings with a lot of forgotten space scattered here and there. There are some nice central avenues though.
Doesn't look all that "super-dense" overall with such wide roads and big empty areas and fields. Nothing like Tokyo or HK in that regard. Impressive only in how it seems to never end. 5/10 |

Sao Paulo's skyline is a classic!! I like the density. Too bad there are not enough green areas, but that's a different story since I dont take trees to be part of the skyline...
I'll give it 9/10.

I just don't like Sao Paulo.
Most of the buildings are white and short. 5/10.

If about 7 or 8 250m+ towers were built along with another 4 or 5 300m+ towers, it would look great
Anyway, 9 for SP

8/10 In terms of mid-rises buildings, SP looks like Tokyo or Buenos Aires... or should I say Tokyo and Buenos Aires look like São Paulo in this aspect???

MY GOD! That's amazing. I love it. Who needs enormous buildings when everywhere you walk there is another high-rise. It looks like a sea of concrete...my paradise. I think this more accurately resembles the future of cities...all the buildings are about the same height and hopefully allowing for numerous skywalks.
