For some awesome photos of SP's various central business districts, see this thread: http://skyscrapercity.com/showthread...hreadid=228994 It's been closed because a Rate the Skyline thread for SP already exists here and there was no proper voting section set up. But it has some fantastic pics, IMHO!

Sao Paulo has an incredible number of skyscrapers. They may not have any supertalls, but they have huge numbers of towers. 9.5/10. Why the height restrictions, though?

There is a point where a skyline becomes too much or too big. This is an example.

Some districts were liberated last year. There are now some tall buildings being projected like two 400m+ towers and other 300m+ and several 200+es. The only problem is the unstable market. It is dangerous to invest in a building with a construction time of 4 years, if you don't if it will be needed when construction ends... That is the reason why many projects rather have 3 30 storey towers the one 90 storey tower. Because if one of the other towers isn't needed, you stop to build the other one and just conclude the the one under contruction...

phenomenal density, but needs a few tall buildings to make the skyline really stand out.
