That's amazing, but it will take so many years to see it completely done, right?
Greatr desings I see there, although it would be nice to see each building more detailed!

this means, the project shown above will not be built at once simply because there is no demand for it. the yields are pretty high compared to western europe, but this alone will not be enough for a project like that. there is strong demand on the residential markt, but it doesn't look like the towers will be residential. they will have to fill the buildings with hotels...
The project is initiated by investors who are part of the "demand". It's not a project that is looking for investors. And it's not a question whether it will be built or not. It's 100% positive that it will get built. It will be a gradual construction for many years though.

You can't see it on the rendering, but it will be part of the skyline. Just not in the same island.

Island will be semi-artificial, so you don't see it yet there. Basically, the supertall will be behind the main cluster.

Ukraine is large enough and if the country develops successfully - this should come true. Why not? You don't need to be world superpower to build something like this.
The designs is very spiky - looks like the "city of Frost", somehow aggressive. Imagine that you would see this forest of spikes and needles from every sport in the city...

Ukraine is having somewhat of a boom period since the 'Orange revolution' last year, the economy is looking good and people are generally very optimistic about the future over there. There's a baby boom so the population will increase dramatically in the coming years, meaning more residential towers may be needed as well as these . Of course things could all go pair-shaped....same as with any booming economy but lets hope that doesn't happen shall we?
The Ukraine could be an ideal investment area for people in western Europe, abit like the Balkans area has become over reccent years.

I don't get it, all those negative comments. If cities in Russia, Indonesia or Pakistan can build gigantic business centres or skyscrapers, why can't Kiev do it?

Interesting all these projects, keep them coming!

Investors. I think this question has been repeated, while it is answered in the very first post.

The project is ordered by investors. It's not looking for them.

I think this is just a futuristic dream . when the investors that "keep on fighting" for this project will actually give it a look - belive me - the press will go ballistic about it . By then - pray or dream about it , just don't get to demagogical on forums ... i think even ethiopians could say the same thing about projects and stuff , but who is going to belive them without proper proofs ?

What are you talking about? The preparational stages are already in effect and first stage of compeltion is 2008. It's already in progress.

I think you need medical assistance, preferably in Ethiopia.
