No, it's not that. The location of that complex is some hundreds meters away and this plot is small to permit a super huge structure as that one.

This is not just testing ground though. The site is partially boarded and the machines were working.

Yeah, you are right though... the site is too small for a super tall. i am thinking of something in the range of 200m+ and hopefully it will look better than the Crowne Plaza trio.

so, seems to be serious
will eventually start construction in the next weeks
site is fenced in partially

I expect another 35-45 Floor tower low quality ( this way i can perhaps be suprised when it turns out to some thing light Bright Star)

^ I doubt that. Khalid Al Attar tower, Golden Sand Tower, that 301 m on the other side, all have a huge board in front.

Speaking of the board: Remember when the board had 2 young ladies sitting back to back, showing off their Nivea Cream container, with the slogan: "More moisture, more PLEASURE"
