This Tower is calling, "Just look at me!" There are very few places in the city of Frankfurt where your not confronted with it. (Like in the Underground) I gave it a 9.5

This building is fantastic!
9/10 from me. I love its shape. And that shot of the different colours there is superb! Along with the equally beautiful Bank of America in SF, this is easily in my top ten favourite buildings.

One of Europe's finest. I love the warm granite colours, the proportions, the base and the pointed roof. 9.5/10

Love this joint!!! Unfortunately a bit boring in the middle section, but I admire the way the old stepped roof pattern was incorporated into this design.
9.5.

it's a beautiful building...sleek but not overbearing, I don't know how some of you can give it a 6 out of 10, most of you would crap in your pants to have as building like this in your skyline!...9.5/10

8.5/10, and maybe I should have given it a 9.5. It races towards the sky, and has an interesting form; the glass and stone are combined nicely. I love that last picture; the glass almost turns into sky, and gives the tower a wonderful, airy feeling as it hovers way up there. Amazing!
Maybe it could use a bit more of that wonderful, ethereal glass, and a few setbacks...

All this buildings tries to be is a big Helmut Jahn statue. It doesn't represent a style nor city, urban center or value and it's very unfriendly to visitors. I ghive it a 6/10, which is only for the marble used.

Nice shape, but I don't care for the color. Last edited by Wu-Gambino; January 11th, 2004 at 07:23 AM. |
