i just think Grocon have seen greener grass in prosperous Dubai.
this will eventually get built. its a great bldg in great spot.
principes-yeah Sydney is into deep excavation for carparking. we would rather it underground then above ground. ( aka-melbourne).
this will be 28m or 8storeys deep. World towers was 30m/10storeys.The deepest so far will be the 14storey/40m deep pit for the 50m/15st office bldg planned for Quay st.

that's a shame, but a little understandable given the current state of the resi market. They seemed to be doing it half-hearted anyway while they were atit. At least, as Miliux said, it is not a prominent site, and if it remains so for a while, is no real big deal- maybe the neighbouring site will be developed first??

yeah i agree. ill put this ones status as "on hold". its not the first time ive done this. i did one yesterday with Brisbanes Panorama sky tower.

its a worry when official website doesnt exist dating back to sept 2002.

hopefuly 2006 will see a new builder signed up and get this tower progressing!!!!!!!!!

chatted to Aspect devlopers today about its status. he said there assessing a new builder and everything will be back on track before easter.
sounds good.

^ yeh, this one s definately a goer. no money problems, just uncommitted builders. Grocon couldnt committ themselves beacuse of other projects so they got out while they could. Kimberley Securities are now got a couple of builders short listed and excavations will recommence asap.

I meant the ones who invested in Aspect from around 3-4 years ago.

The last site @ World Sq will start soon. not a bad bunch of skyscrapers.

That SMH article came out @ the height of the southern CBD frenzy we were going through. I'm certainly not disappointed in the results, but yeah....Aspect needs to happen. I think we can pretty-well give up on 720 George for the time being, but not on Aspect.

LOL @ World Square's East. They took us full circle with the current proposal, the flower-shaped footprint tower, 2 similar DCM towers and back to the beginning. What a roller-coaster ride that was.
