Well partial crane erection. SAAB is doing Aspect's construction and it will be interesting to see when the crane is fully reaching it's height, which compmany will have its name on the crane.

Its an OK project which just seems to be taking an eternity to rise.

managed to duck my head in door/gate on friday to peer down at foundations. the base slab has been poured and a core box is being formed.

That's good to know CULWULLA because I passed the site a couple of times last week and once, there was absolutely no action nor workers @ all and the other time there were only a couple of guys outisde on Cunningham St just talking and no action in the pit. Both times during the working hours.

SinCity is definitely right in calling the project slow. There was one reasonable reason as to why & that was when Grocon dropped out and Saab took over. The transition was slow but kind of understood...but, it was in November 2003 that The Triple 8 Club was demolished to make way.

yeah i think there in no rush. this will be along with meritons Mosaic the only new unit tower come 2008/9. By then the markets will be on way up and these units will be sough after.good timing i reckon.

OK, this is bizarre. SAAB have everything in place yet I have walked by 3 times during the day over the last couple of weeks, stuck mah nose in and nothing, zilcho! No-one in sight.

This must take the prize for slowest per floor from Timwin's La Maison on Pacific if anyone remembers that project.

I did see about half a dozen guys along with a truck outside the site last Friday afternoon, as I walked past.
