I think there is confusion about Grand Union. From what I am reading this was a prediction of a start, which did not happen. However, if I am wrong and there is talk of activity I will mince over on my bike and have a butchers!!! Its not that far from me.

Has someone heard of something happening there?

The headlines read: 'another footballer is charged with sexual miscontuct'!

Is it pure coincidence that a mans Scrotum resembles a brain - requisite with both hemispheres, and its truncated spinal cord - always in search of sensation?

no.... the GUB started groundwork, chelsfield then promptly stopped it as the market got worse and their nerve on securing a pre-let vanished.

Anway apart form the obvious happening, Lime st, Pan P, Broadgate etc I reckon:

Provided Beetham gets through planning unscathed it will start in 2006
Norton Folgate will go in for planning & be approved
Wilkinson Eyre will finally go in for planning
We will get news on 2 towers of 500ft in the city of London
we will get news of at least one other 500ft tower in London
2 residential towers of 40 storeys or more will go in for planning.
RS will start construction (well bit of a long shot that one)
Battersea Power station will finally get some serious construction happening.
Seeing as the 2007 prediction thread is up & running lets have a look at what we predicted for this year.

Well I did well-lol

Beetham- didn't get through planning unscathed- one for next year me thinks
Norton folgate- Well we got a rendering but planning got pushed back till next year.
2 new ones in the city I got right- hurrah! 20FC & 100 Bishopsgate.
Quite a few of new towers proposed- a couple over 500ft
RS- Was a long shot but hopefully next year.
Battersea Power station- Fingers crossed next year will be the year.
