Looking back in previous page, i just noticed each "grey floor" in the following diagram represent the end of each big "Z" steel beam.

SWFC is currently lev24 or 108m high. meanwhile Burj Dubai is also level 24 but 96m high.

the rate of construction for this building is amazing. i was in shanghai at the start of december last year and it was about a third of the height!!

I love this building! Pretty striking\impressive. Very "broad-shouldered". Even with the rectangle in the top, which at least, looks better than the circle.

Does anyone have pictures of the planned floor plates? Or know the base length/width, esp. for the first 100 m?
