id be very surprised if this beats burj to 492m. When burj dubai is that height, levels will be poure in the same way they had been all the way, whereas the feature on top of SWFC will clearly take a long time to construct properly. Also i think BD is already higher, and they seem to be growing at a similar rate.

Nezzybaby, you did make sense. But i think the change design had makes its less complicated to construct without the ferris wheel. Also, the tower is contructed by steel frame, which is faster than concrete.

it quite clearly has a concrete core, and is currently growing slower than the burj, what evidence suggests itll be built quicker (to 490m)?

James Foong, those pictures are awesome.

Does anyone have a roadmap of Shanghai that's in english? To be honest I have no idea where things are in Shanghai with reference to the airports, maglev like, major freeways and roads that connect to other cities. Hell I don't even know where Pudong is in compaison to the rest of the city or the ocean for that matter.

If you want a render, do it yourself. First, download the free photo-editor GIMP (http://gimp.org), then find an exisiting picture (just the building) that has almost the same perspective. Then PM or email me and I'll TEACH YOU how to make it look good.
