the name of this pic is ( dubai tower ) so i guess this was one of the proporsal designs of dubai tower
 still not sure

My fave is Al Qouds. Some of the others have too much "bling". I love the use of clear glass rather than reflective though.. except the intense sun doesn't help.

Al Qouds tower? i'm wondering, just wondering, why this name in particular? what's the purpose of a tower holding this name? why do we have to commercialize our holy sites & places? haven't we done enough with products like Mecca-cola & Zamzam-cola, and now this?
we all went furious when israel put pix of al-aqsa mosque on their wine bottles, now we allow ourselves to use the same methods by involving our holy sites in commerce with no apparent reason but to make a fast buck in the name of patriotism. i weep for my islamic nation. |
