Where those first photos on this page taken from the Stone Gallery of St Pauls Cathedral, looks like it as the chimney of Tate Modern is straight on? This building is going to a tremendous addition to London's skyline. I can't wait to see the crown rising. There was lots of activity at ground level yesterday when I passed, perhaps we'll see some cladding very soon!

Yes - especially with binoculars - which is what you'll need to have a view like that.

not really its only just over a mile away from st.pauls, it will be very visible I think - if you take in to account the heron tower is nearly 2 miles away from Waterloo bridge - a view considered to now be destroyed by EH.
a more realistic view not using zoom |

This will be a tower worthy of Mordor.

An absolute stunner of a tower, Britain really is getting some real beauties in terms of skyscrapers. Just as long as EH don't suddenly force a public enquiry because the tower slightly obscures a view of St. Paul's Cathedral from the entrance of the nearest Tesco. Although, if this were to happen, we could just build the damn thing and chuck the EH people into the wind turbines...
