the pillars looks so tiny at the bottom to support such a weight on this building. I think the whole thing is going to collapse.

Also remember the two bottom floors visable are underground, this building is huge so A. they have done less than 16 floors or B. the core is smaller than first thought. Because to say they have done 16 floors and it will only be that tall will mean the whole building will be 70-80 floors tall.

Also the pillar at the base is as wide as the the top four floors in the render? the building will be huge. Not a spear.

What pillars are you on about?

Just to tell you the concrete walls are about 1m thick. Check any photos with workers next to these walls and you'll see

What he means is look at the core where the crane is, and notice that the very highest point of those poster renders is still about that size. We've all seen how large the core is from the aerial shots, so I'm tempted to agree. Still, nothing will leave judgement like visiting it when it's done!

Yes. There was a plan (as in top view) of this tower that labelled that part as the nose

The 'nose section', are the sections on each side. they are the section with the four concrete collumns.

I think Binalain's render is wrong, but good effort!!

He has the Nose showing as the podium and not the side towers.

That's ok. It's just an example and an estimate . I think it still does a nice job showing the overall placement, even if the scale is a little wrong. Still though, thanks to everyone who's made some comparison or CG for the Burj. It's made this thread interesting!
