Actually, there's 6 buildings in the picture.
On the left, a ~250m tower, then a ~180/200m tower just next to granite, then the 400m tall tower, and on the right of the arch, there's another ~200m behind gan, a ~300m behind total, and a large and low building on the right of T1, which could be the Concert Hall maybe.

Also, notice the restructuration of AXA, which appears to be taller than 200m.

This is great news for Paris.

I just can't believe the bickering by both sides here though. of the last 11 pages, less than two was relevant to this amazing proposal. The rest was simply pathetic.

Brilliant dense cluster. T1, Granite and the 400-meter should add to the skyscrapers well

Well done Paris, this is comming from a londoner, you put us to shame

Well done

This is coming from the mouth of one of themost patriotic Londoners you'll likely to find, this really does put CW to shame, makes you wonder what they are trying to achieve.

I dont think it will be as good as the city cluster, but you never know.....

Fragmentor why didn't you just link to the London 2012 thread?

I am a very proud Londoner and totally agree with your statement. At the moment Paris literally puts London to shame. I see projects being proposed. And then one year later it becomes a reality with cores going up.
However with London, thiers a long battle to get planning permission. Then a long battle to find tenants. Five years later cores rise But I am very happy for Paris

^ Don't be ridiculous! London has far more under construction right now than Paris and has far built more in recent years too. The architecture of towers like Swiss Re and HSBC are superb. The recent Canary Wharf towers are taller than the current La Defense projects too. Other non high-rise projects like the London Eye, Millennium Dome, Wembley Stadium, Heathrow Terminal 5, Tate Modern, British Museum Great Court, Jubilee Line Extension, CTRL/St Pancras etc are far larger and more impressive than anything built in Paris in the same period. There's plenty more in the pipeline too. There are ooodles of towers on the way and look at the Olympic projects too. This latest blurry rendering of La Defense's future is for 2015. Think how many towers will have been built in London by then! There are cities out there that do make London's construction scene look modest. They are Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Hong etc.... but definitely not Paris!

But he is right though, you got to admit.

Anyway, back on topic. This thread isnt for discussion of London.
Got any ideas of what information we will find out about them next week? Exact heights maybe? Proper renders? I want to find out more about these towers, they seem quite interesting.

Hypocrite! I haven't noticed any sea change in your attitudes recently so why would you expect me to change? I am entitled to offer my view in response to those of eXSBass and Fragmentor. If you don't like it then tough!

Oh, for a second I thought you had something interesting to say. No offense Monkey, but what is ridiculous here is your extremism and the way you never stop to create mess whenever you can. Is creating flame wars your only objective in life ? what was the point of posting that, except showing arrogance, bias, jealousy, and ignorance ?
You just push things to the extreme, no matter how ridiculous it is and then you say that you just gave your opinion... etc.

There's a word to define people like you : troll

Grow up...

I am entitled to offer my view in response to those of eXSBass and Fragmentor. There is nothing trollish or immature ("grow up"? ) about my comments. You just don't like what I say. I think I the reason I upset you so much is because you know I'm right.

Sure it's trollish. You present things in the most extreme way while many of these things are debatable, you might be right on some of them, that's nto the point, the point is that you come here and post something really provocative, and I'm pretty sure you did it on purpose, to tease. and your "you know i'm right " just proves it.

If you check any Paris thread in which he participates, his only point, always is to try to diminish Paris next to London.
