A few others to add, these are pictures from Star Trek II and III in which they show Captain Kirk's apartment in San Francisco. The pictures arent the best but you can see two futuristic skyscrapers out the window.




Here is a behind the scenes production photo that gives you a closer look at the two skyscrapers. Also I found out that the background painting was the same one used in the movie The Towering Inferno, so Kirk's building is probably the same height.

I know that this is not fictional architecture. But since it was never built. Well, one could say it was.... no not really... but still. I love these model from Frank Lloyd Wright.

The best Dune architecture I'v seen would be Gedi Prime in Lynch's version, in comparason i'v found the TV series very lacking.
