Vecās Tatras T3 un T6B5 tajās izskatās pat labāk nekā Rīgas krāsās, lai gan es neatbalstu šādu "pilnas reklāmas krāsojumu". Izskatās super lēti. Mazas reklāmas uz transporta sāniem, vai aizmugures ir ok, bet visu vienā reklāmā ir par traku. Izskatās ka RS izmisīgi meklē naudu.

So on 16.12.2011. the last of the first ordered 20 trams was delivered.

Any news on the future orders?
As I remember the agreement was about additional 35 trams (or 35 in total)?

Read my last post carefully.

The quotes from skoda.cz say that

in the total value of 1.3 billion Czech crowns

and

The price of one tram for Riga is EUR 2.6 million

So ... 1 tram = 2`600`000EUR ... 20 tram = 52`000`000EUR ... if count the full possible order - 32 trams = 83`200`000EUR ... that's without the transportation from Czech republic to Latvia.

Ok. I just wanted to check. Tallinn going to have 15 trams (3 million euros each) and for me it seems too expensive.

Well just 400'000 more then ours ... But I think it would be better first to compare the specifications of the trams and then the value ... Maybe tallinns trams are better

I saw that one too. I wrote RS on saturday for more info, but still no info.

Today they answered me on Twitter, that they are testing the possible use of hybrid engine buses.

Just read on twitter about RS plans to rebuild tram track, stops and electric wires on Ropazu iela ... Thus trams will run to 45. vsk and then change to special bus to Jugla.
