Supertalls in Busan, South Korea. Going Crazy!!!

Busan Lotte Tower. 494 m. 107 floors. U/C. 2008





Suyong Bay Tower. 462 m. 102 floors. Proposed. 2010



Centum Towers. 2 residential towers of 65 floors and 210 meters. U/C. One Hotel of 60 floors and 195 meters. Proposed.

^ my first thought exactly! I really dislike this new "big wheel-trend". They make a city look silly, not to be taken seriously. London in my opinion has ruined it's image as a classy city with that stupid wheel on the Thames.

the first rendering is alot nicer than the second. Great tower though

Totally agree. Why not have rollercoasters flying in and out amongst the skyline too! Leave rides in amusement parks, observation towers for cities. I remember one was proposed for the South St. Seaport area in lower Manhattan. I thought it totally ridiculous but was surprised at the support it got on that particular thread on SSP. Forumers I wouldn't expect, either.

I also dont like wheels in cities it makes it look like amusement parks.. but the london one is cool..

I like the first just ditch the ferris wheel. London looks good with one but every other city won't, espicially Manhattan.

I wouldn't go that far - london was kinda first, the others copied it. I dont like that trend either though.
