i have to agree with face bout the common podium thing but u know the design isnt that bad (6.5/10)...ok so its not the best but as face pointed out emaar is prolly biulding these types cuz they want ppl to focus on the BD and oly on the BD and not the surrounding buildings when pics of downtown dubai r taken.

I think it's getting to the stage where there's too much similarity. It's as if all the other towers are worshipping the burj. It would be better to have some more interesting towers around so that not ALL the attention is focused on it.

I remember SA Boy saying something about Gehry doing a tall one for the burj dubai complex.
