Vauxhall Cross Island Towers | Lambeth | 141m/115m | 41fl/31fl | Approved

ok i cant find the last thread, anyway ive been in touch with london & regional about their planned development in vauxhall. got sent this image. i have some other images but ill post them after ive written the news article. the shorter tower is 29 floors, and the taller tower 52 floors. the shorter one is about 100 metres and the taller a little over 180. i believe the orientation of the towers has been decided partly by the fact that the nearby vauxhall bondway site is set for development too and no-one would want three 180m towers lining up precisely in neighbouring plots...

I like the little...square thing.

With the trees under the roof.

I don't like the wooden cladding

Is that square thing to the right the Vauxhall bus station? If it is, where the hell do these towers go?

goth is going on holiday and doubts he will have time to write a story on this before he goes, not least because it includes an interview with the developer who he needs to do a follow up with.
youll have to wait a week i guess guys. here's a nice little guide to help you work out whats what with this though.

Sucky.

We don't need another wall of towers that are the same height.

This gateway to Central London will be amazing! I already like the gritty/redevelopped feel of the area, towers will enhance the whole thing.

Those are great looking towers for the area though i still prefer the original design for St Georges wharf.

This is going to be one serious kickass entrance on the approach into London Waterloo! Imagine a 300m tower as a pinacle here!

Wow, those two buildings look superb, simple and bloody sexy... especially if they're lit up like that.

Looking good. Hope the finished towers are not also made of cardboard like the models, but if they were they would probably still look good. Thanks!
