Always wondered where the tree roots go in skyhouse ? Looking at the pic, the flats below the 'gardens' should be like mr badgers digs hehe.

I hope if it refused it takes the some path as St Georges and eventually gets permission, but hopefully it won't have that problem.

i think its important for this one to be given permission. it really seems to aide st georges in a big way by giving it more of a backdrop so it seems to blend in with the landscape far better than it ever could on its own

I believe they use reinforced concrete sealing that even tree roots cant penetrate.

So, can someone just lay this all out for me nice and clearly? Do we actually have the current renderings of these towers, do we know the likelyhood of them getting built, and do we know the timescale for construction (i.e, when it will start?).

Squire and Partners have updated their page on this, so who wants some new renders
![]() Planning permission is expected to be given this year, and the site is empty so I expect this will get underway quickly, whch I'm happy about as it's my favourite resi development in the city ![]() Info from the site: Client: London & Regional Properties Structural engineer: Expedition Engineering Services engineer: Roger Preston and Partners Planning Consultant: Gerald Eve Planning consent anticipated: 2007 New renders (there a bit small mind) ![]() ![]() ![]() It is also in London and Regionals last company synopsis dated feb 2007, so the project is still very much alive ![]() IMO they put St George's Wharf tower to shame |
