this is one gorgeous tower... I like the streamlined shaped and it really breaks the mould in tower design... I so envy the Kuwaiti skyline!!! hahaha... manila has lots of towers but none of them are certified supertalls...

Like Kuwait City, when Mubarak al Kabeer will dwarf Al Hamra . With Dubai One or maybe the Nakheel, like I say in my country, don't sell bear's skin before kill him .

Al Hamra Tower is in Kuwait city while Mubarak al Kabeer Tower would be in Al-Sabiyya city, nearly 20 K.m. away from each other .

actually if u have seen the sketch u will find most of the towers around mubarak tower less than 25% of its height while the towers near burj duabi are actually more than 50%. again a waste of money they wont seem tall near it rather they shouldhave been built elsewhere.

Yes it is.
That's why this skyline is bad:

While this one is very good:

Although the tallest tower in the first skyline is slightly taller than anything else in the second picture.

Al Hamra tower November 26, 2009 from Chili's restaurant, Kuwait city.
Clouds were heavy, and it looked creepy..

I totally agree. That's why New York and Chicago have good skylines as well. Amsterdam with the zuid-as looks great to because they all are around the 100m not high but lot's of the same hight to form a massive imposing block at the skyline.

Kuwait skyline vs. Dubai skyline is not for this thread, guys!
But let me say something about this!
A skyline with the wolrd's tallest building must be great... I like Dubai skyline all the way and don't forget that it is still to improve more!
I think that my city's skyline is need to improve more to catch up with Dubai, which is, in my opinion, the best skyline in the Middle East...
I think, when some of the on-hold buildings start to rise up, Kuwait skyline will be much beter...
Eid Mubarak

My point wasn't that at all.

My point was that you don't go making a skyscraper to just make a, "Skyline".
