Kuwait bans DSLRs in public places

Source: BJP

Whats the point in that?

The only reason for me to visit Kuwait as a skyscraper fan is to shot few photos of the highest buildings. I know that Arabic countries are different, and I can understand that there are no footpaths, only highways, that girls need to hide their bodies and palms cant grow without water from artificial irrigation there, but this? wtf?

ummm, wtf ?! lol

i found a few articles about this topic, but they all seem from American newspapers or British sources... there has been no law introduced about this in any of the ministries in kuwait, and no local newspaper reported on this subject.

They might be just starting the lowest level for the sky lounge. I think that's floors 77-80.

I think so. Hard to tell for sure from the recent pictures, because they just show the stone cladded side. But those were from a couple weeks ago, so they're probably on the sky lounge floors by now.
