I was looking at Princess Tower's thread, also 414m, and this made me realise what a waste of material that tower was.

thanks, but the tower has nothing more to complete because:

stone cladding- 99.5 %
glass panels - 100%
core - 100%
floor plates -100%
landscaping - 70%
lamella structure-80%
lighting -20% +
not sure about the lighting but except for a few patches of stone cladding behind the cranes the tower has nothing to complete externally and also the car park probably has to go a few more floors

cause al hamra is wayyyyyyy better princess towers is also good though

According to the blogger "At the top floor of the Al Hamra Tower will be the triple height restaurant concept and ballroom with the two floors below it turned into a type of chairman’s club"!..
Thank Heavens! i had thought that the restaurant was scrapped when they announced plans for the chairman's club

even i hope but i think they wont scrap the idea of the sky lounge because the sky lounge will be a major attraction and the official website still boasts about the sky lounge in the updated website....any idea how to get a tour of the tower? :P im dying for a second visit

If i knew how to get a tour of the tower..i would be posting hundreds of pictures already! .. n i havnt even had a 1st visit yet

many bloggers somehow arranged a visit to the tower and god goody bags full of notebooks 2cds and other stuff i wonder how they got in

these are pics from my visit in September or October 2010 the floors below are mechanical and according to the pics the skylounge start from floor 74but the website says the executive floors are from 74-75. mechanical floors are 73 and maybe 72
